PRIVACY POLICY AND DATA PROCESSING OF AMR – INDÚSTRIAS TÊXTEIS, LDA.

This privacy policy and data processing applies specifically and exclusively to the activity of AMR – Indústrias Têxteis, Lda., Tax Identification Number 505 207 222, owner of the websites www.amr.pt, www.portugalhome.pt and www.miazarrocco.pt, and expresses its total commitment to the processing of personal data that you transmit to us in accordance with the Privacy Policy and the Cookies Policy in force at any given time, so we suggest that you carefully read these policies in order to assess whether you agree with them.

 

Collected data, respective purposes and data processing

AMR, through the website or participation in fairs and exhibitions, may collect personal data for the following purposes:

  1. Manage your registration as a website user;
  2. To fulfill requests or orders made through the website, emails and fairs/exhibitions in which we participate;
  3. Development, fulfillment and execution of the contract for the purchase and sale of products or provision of services that you have entered into with us;
  4. For dissemination purposes through the Newsletter or direct communication of the launch of new products and participation in fairs and exhibitions;
  5. Analysis of functionality and quality of our products and services;
  6. Employment opportunities, which will be disclosed through the website and/or through the company’s pages on social networks, and the collection and processing of data collected at that time and for this purpose, will be duly clarified at that time.

Within the scope of the performance of the employment contract, AMR uses personal data to be able to draw up the employment contract and comply with all legal obligations arising from the employment relationship.

AMR does not accept the submission of spontaneous applications, so if any user uses its website or the contacts disclosed here for this purpose, said application will be immediately eliminated.

In its physical facilities, AMR uses video surveillance cameras in some spaces in order to guarantee solely and exclusively the safety of its facilities and the people who work in them.

All personal data or sensitive information that is sent by its Holders without the consent or prior request by AMR will be deleted and will not be processed or transferred to third parties by AMR. The Holder of this data must be aware that by sending this information voluntarily, spontaneously and unsolicited, he cannot impute any responsibility to AMR for the treatment/deletion of the same.

AMR does not knowingly collect personal information from persons under the age of 18. If it detects that it unintentionally collects personal information from persons under the age of 18, AMR will take the necessary measures to delete the information as quickly as possible, unless required by applicable law to keep it.

In any case, the ARCO rights (Access, Rectification, Cancellation, Opposition) provided for in the LPDP will be scrupulously respected and, for their exercise, you must send an email to info@amr.pt informing in detail the information or action you want to be provided or performed.

On the AMR website there is a Newsletter subscription form in which the email is requested

This data will be collected after consent and express authorization by the user, with an authorization box that the user must check if they wish to subscribe to the newsletter. The data submitted will be treated and used exclusively for the purposes of newsletter dissemination. The data collected will not be transmitted to third parties, except in situations related to legal imperatives.

AMR may subcontract other companies to provide certain services, namely website maintenance companies and other digital services. In these cases, these entities may need to access certain information and user data.

AMR guarantees that, in these cases, these entities will have limited access to user information, restricted only to those data necessary for the execution of the contracted tasks.

It also guarantees that a contract has been signed between the parties in which the protection of Personal Data is regulated and where these entities undertake not to reveal, in any way, the Personal Data, nor to use them for purposes other than the provision of contracted services.

Likewise, AMR may communicate your Personal Data, when so determined by law, within the scope of a judicial process or within the scope of investigations of suspicious activities.

  8. Time during which we store the data

We only keep Personal Data for the time necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected, to respond to your needs or to comply with our legal obligations.

To determine the period for which we keep your data, we use the criteria mentioned below. If several criteria apply simultaneously, we will keep your personal data in accordance with the criteria that imply the retention of your Personal Data for the longest period of time.

  1. When you contact us with questions, we will keep your personal data for the period of time necessary to resolve your question;
  2. When you have consented to the sending of the newsletter, we will keep your personal data until you cancel the subscription or ask us to delete it;
  3. The period of time provided for in the applicable legislation; or
  4. Until the specific purpose applicable to certain data ceases to exist.

In any of the aforementioned situations, if there is a pending judicial or administrative proceeding, the data will be kept for the duration of the process and up to six months after the final decision has been rendered.

We may also retain some of your personal data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, as well as to manage or enforce our rights, namely through legal action.

At the end of the aforementioned retention periods, Personal Data will be securely deleted and/or erased.

 

Warranties

The data subject guarantees that the Personal Data communicated to AMR is correct and accurate and undertakes to notify any changes or modifications to them and assumes exclusive responsibility for losses and damages caused by erroneous, inaccurate or incomplete communication of the data.

The data subject is expressly warned that when revealing Personal Data in public AMR media such as Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Google+ and Instagram, this information may be seen and used by third parties. AMR does not read any personal communication published on its visitors’ own web pages.

AMR reserves the right to modify the Privacy Policy in accordance with new legal and/or regulatory requirements, for security reasons or in order to adapt this Policy to the instructions of the supervisory authorities in terms of data protection.
